My Thoughts

I would say this movie average. But it's not bad either. Its one of the movies where you watch it to kill time or something.

decent plot but with considerable plot holes, though

the best way I describe this movie would be "authentic but nothing special"

My Thoughts

this movie is so slow and boring that...I don't even know what to put here

this is one of those slow "artistic" slow paced films where each scene takes forever and very little happens

now, the plot is actually decent, but the movie blows it with the lack of dialogue and its slow paced-ness and general dullness that makes you want to fall asleep. Gosling literally says like 10 lines in the entire movie. People who payed to see this movie got robbed the while the crew who made this movie are laugh their a$$es off to the bank.

What with these movies where the director thinks he can substitute plot for cinematography? And why does Gosling continue to do these movies? Just why?

Oh wait, I think I know why. I think Gosling likes to do these movies because they are pretty much 2 hour long continuous selfie shots where he tries to looks serious and sexy? That is seriously the only theory I can up with.

the only thing this film has going for it is the cinematography. Nice scenes with cool lights. Thats about it.

In A Nutshell

learn from my mistakes and don't ever watch this

The Wolf Of Wall Street

Release Year: 2013
More info @ IMDB

Synopsis

A story of Joe Belfort, a stockbroker who goes from riches to rags to riches and the craziness in between

My Thoughts

I like these types of movies where it's a mix of comedy, biography and drama. I love it when the main character breaks out of the plot to narrate to further progress the story.

the plot is interesting. Wall Street type goes all alpha and makes money and then things start spiraling out of control

the acting is well done by everyone, believing the is hawwt

*SO MUCH NUDITY, DRUGS AND SEX THAT IT SHOULD PROBABLY BE CONSIDERED PORN

this is honestly one of, if not the most obscene movies I ever watched

how this movie got a "R" rating and not something more restricted is beyond me. What does that say about our culture? When this movie gets bootlegged in some middle eastern country, the adults will be blown away of the sheer amount of debauchery that goes on. I wouldn't be surprised if this movie and the themes within it are used as a justification to breed hatred of America and Hollywood in conservative cultures. Terrorists are born by watching this movie.

so I saw this in theaters and I happen to sit next to a mom and her two young girls (around 8 or 9 years old) near the bottom center of the cinema. Literally the first scenes of the movie was the protagonist doing blow off the hookers butt. You would figure momma would get the hint and take her kids out of there. Nope, momma bear and her kids stuck it out 90% through the movie. I swear that the girls were covering their eyes and ears for half the movie while momma watched. The thing is that the kids were censoring themselves! Mom didn't even cover their eyes, ears or anything! So anyway, they were watching until there was a particularly adult age 18+ scene where I guess she finally figured should be a good parent and leave. When they got up and left, the theater literally went loud with audible chatter from the crowd because everyone was in shock of how such young kids were still here watching the the movie. And this is when the movie was 90% through. Good thing they left when they did too because the next scene is when the domestic violence happens.

so yeah, that person won the worst parent of the year award right there

so dear stranger (or my future self), if you are ever considering watching this movie,

*make sure there are no kids under 20 in the vicinity. This movie is very much for ADULTS ONLY

My Thoughts

Jason Statham is getting progressively better at showing his feminine side, that is, showing his feelings and emotions. His acting range is getting better and more broad instead of being a consistent badass.

Statham still kicks ass though

at the end of the day, this movie is a nice change of pace for those who like to watch Statham kick ass

movie is pretty good, but you will eventually forget about it

My Thoughts

I didn't really like this movie.

it seemed pretty dull and boring. The characters seemed stereotypical and there doesn't seem to be much going on. It was probably close to someone's actual 10 year reunion, but it was very hard to keep watching.

the only thing that this movie has going for it is its uneventful realism (which I usually like), but it's pretty dull and boring. Skip this if you can.

My Thoughts

I was honestly expecting a slow paced horror flick. Walked away pleasantly surprised.

the movie is relly about a pyschology duo (professor + grad student) who investigate paranormal claims. Despite the horror film vibe you get from watching the first couple of minutes, it really gets better and becomes interesting (at least to me). It has an awesome sense of atmosphere.

both characters are well played and well developed. The physchologist is cold, calculating, and firm but fair and honest. The sidekick is like an apprentice that tries to show that he can impress the boss and that he's a big boy too.

they kinda blew the final scene on the stage IMO. I won't go into details, but the movie show of stopped when the coin was tossed.

watch it, pretty good

My Thoughts

pretty awesome slow paced thriller

In case anyone ever asks "What is the maze man's connection to the plot?", [just show them this rundown][1] [1]:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392214/board/nest/222117869?d=222124763#222124763

for some reason, when I saw the thumbnail cover image of this movie, I thought the movie takes palce in the 1800's Europe or something. Only when I actually started watching the movie I realized that it takes place in modern day America. So the moral of this bullet point is not to assume the setting of a movie based on its cover (see what i did there?)

you know how I always knock movies for being predictable? Well, this is one of those rare movies where they caught me off gaurd until they revealed the critical clue. In hindsight, I should of seen it coming. It should of been obvious. But they truly caught me off guard, so kudos to them. +1/2 stars

acting was really good. Like they-should-win-an-oscar good. At the very minimum, a nomination

would reccomend

Elysium[SPOILERS AHOY]

Release Year: 2013
More info @ IMDB

Synopsis

Poor people of Earth are jealous of the rich people of Elysium.

My Thoughts

If you liked District 9, then I think you'll like this one if you like sci-fi technology, gear and robots

the difference between District 9 and this is that District 9 had a decent plot/interesting story. This movie lacked that. So basically you'll only like this movie for it's sci-fictionness with regards to the robots, gear, technology etc.

but even if your a sucker for sci-fi tech, alot of it was so redicoulous that I found it hard to take it seriously. Curing cancer in seconds? Really guys? Not realistic. At least have some basis in reality, please.

the story was just bland with obvious political overtones that really kinda made me think that <del>someone was trying</del> to get somekind of liberal political message across. Here, the message was quite obviously regarding illegal immigration and undocumented people. LA is a wasteland filled with only latinos and the protagonist is a white guy who was on a suicide mission to save himself and the planet. How am I supposed to take you people seriously, let alone the message your trying to get across

on top of that, they shift from the illegal/undocumented people issue to the classic class warfare poor vs. rich theme.

oh no, the poor are poor and want what the rich have got. The class warfare trope is tired and boring, especially in a movie where it doesn't explain how things came to be this way beside saying everything went to sh!7

there is one scene where the agent gets a huge chunk of his face blown off only to be repaired by these silly magical curing boxes. Why can't some of them be used to help people on Earth? Do they break easy? take too much power? The movie doesn't explain anything. You have to give us something other than “rich people are dicks.”

cartoonish villains. An evil omni-corporation.

*yawn

and whats with the power dynamic on Elysium. If I didn't know better, the defense minister has more power than the president yet she plots a coup'd'etat

besides the action and tech, this movie is forgettable. The proble is the poorly thought out heavy handed political message

go watch [Oblivion][1] if you want to watch an actually good sci-fi film [1]:http://yoofie.net/reviews/movies/105/oblivion

In A Nutshell

watch it only for spaceships and tech

My Thoughts

I was really surprised. I hate movies/tv shows where the good guy is pretty much invincible.

I should point out that I never followed superman. That is, I never read the comics, stories, etc. So I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to that. All I know is that he has awesome vision superpowers and is invincible to everything except kyrptonite

maybe my ignorance is why I enjoyed the movie so much. If I had known the lore and had more general knowledge of this universe, I probably wouldn't have liked it as much.

However, the movie falls victim to classic American culture cliches. Good guys always win, very little moral ambiguity, over dramatized struggle etc. But considering this franchise was created in the 1930's, I'll take it easy

popcorn entertainment

My Thoughts

if there was one word to describe this movie, it would be average

I'm not a fan of superhero movies in general, but this movie had decent character introspection and dynamics

plot was real and believable until the end where it stopped being believable

I never really read the x-men comics or know anything about that universe besides that's it was mildly interesting

I find invincible characters a big negative to any movie, book, story or anything. Remember folks, I like to keep my entertainment based in reality.

My Thoughts

I really hate watching movies involving trashy people, especially trailer trash. Something about these people irratates me. I almost stopped even, but I kept watching and I am glad I did

Gerard Butler continues to get better and better as he plays in more movies. Considering the subject matter of the movie, he nails the role

the meat of this movie is how the protagonist struggles in his craptacular life and slowly transitions to a born-again Christian which eventually goes to Africa on a missions trip to help people

the plight of the people in the war is haunting. Refugee camps, children running around without their parents, child soldiers, the poverty is just depressing

the fact that this movie is based on a guy who

*still to this day

*does what he does is amazing. The guy is a saint

this movie makes me feel like crap considering we have nice and safe here in the West.

My Thoughts

this is one of those movies where its worth paying the extra money and seeing it in IMAX 3D. The audio/visual experience is so authentic that I'm not sure how they didn'y film this in space. (But of course I know better)

It’s an achievement so significant that it’s little wonder the VFX team is listed before the cast in the credits.

although watching it in IMAX 3D was pretty cool, I can't help but notice that the 3D effects aren't as pronounced as when I was a kid. When I was a kid, I remember the 3D effect being more...3D? More intense maybe? I'm not sure how to describe it but I definitely think that they turned down the strength of the 3D effects, probably because people will get nausea or feel sick or confused. I remember reading articles (over the years) about how some people didn't like it.

amazing visuals and setting

there are a few parts of the movie where you go first person like a first person shooter

the plot is simple but well executed. It’s a genuinely fascinating character drama as Bullock faces her own mortality, and the film has the traditional incredibly deep and powerful themes regarding the will to live and carrying on after tragedy. But I also understand people who say it's lacking or boring. The themes are undertones are missed when your eyes are busy taking in the breathtaking imagery.

Also, explosions and bullets.

My Thoughts

I guess it's the season where [someone wants the White House burn?][1]

When you watch a Die Hard-like-kind-of-action-movie like this it's best to check your brain at the door and have a good time.

What I like about this movie compared to [Olympus has Fallen][1] is this movie takes itself less seriously.

action is good, but there are alot of obvious scenes that would never happen IRL. Would people crowd around the White House as it was under attack? Sure. Then a minute later they would lock that shi7 down so fast that you would never know what happened.

I like the scene where the president is trying to shoot the baddy and takes his glasses out I almost thought this was a parody of sorts of action movies, and I LOL'd because it was just good timing, with Channing Tatum shouting "Shoot! Shoot! No, don't shoot! don't shoot! Ok, now shoot!" and all this time the president is all nervous and fumbling with his glasses.

comparing this movie to [Olympus Has Fallen][1] is hard. I'm trying to decide where scenario is more plausible IRL. The well planned outright attack on the building from outside or a carefully executed inside job that catches everyone by surprise? [1]: http://yoofie.net/reviews/movies/106

Release Year: 2010
More info @ IMDB

Synopsis

13 assasins get together to kill the shogun's advisor because he's an a$$h0le

My Thoughts

this is a foreign film that takes place in 1844 feudal Japan

in the first part of the movie it is hard to make sense of who-is-who (because subtitles and siliar sounding names), but after a little while you'll catch onto the plot

the scene where they showed the limbless is sooo disturbing. I've seen some messed up sh!t on film, but for some reason, this scene scarred me for life. At that point, you'll know whats going down.

the fighting scenes suffer from the classic attack-the-protagonist-one-at-a-time syndrome. 13 fighters don't take on over 200 samurai

I liked how the scenery, setting, style etc stayed true to the era. But I somehow felt that this couldn't possibly take place in 1844. Were they that backward back then?

In A Nutshell

A solid Japanese drama

My Thoughts

I stopped watching this 15 minutes because the dialogue is so redicoulous. No one talks like that to a stranger they just met in alley after a party. And all the scenes after does not happen in real life unless your really drunk.

the only reason movie gets 1.5 stars instead of something lower is because the girl is hot and plays her part really well.

two thumbs down, don't watch this

My Thoughts

I like the premise of the story even though it's an old concept (of having a character be a spy in some kind of organization)

Am I the only one who felt like the movie felt indie? I don't even know if i'm making any sense. The movie had artistic vibe to it. Slow pacing, large moments of silence and emotion etc.

I like how the cell gave off hippy vibes but were quite creative in achieving their goals.

the [INSERT NOBLE AND MORAL CAUSE HERE] VS. Evil Corporate America trope appears here which I usually don't like because it usually seems contrived. However, it's not bad in this movie.

some of the characters are naive, but what do you expect from an environmentalist group?

overall, it's a pretty good spy movie which is worth the watch if don't mind something a bit slower paced

My Thoughts

I didn't like the second one but apparently someone important wanted the wolfpack to get back together for one last hurrah

I liked it. Most people hate trilogies because they usually suck, but this didn't suck as much as I expected it to.

Mr. Chow is hilarious. The whole persona is is so rediculous that he is my favourite character hands down, followed by Alan

the scene where he walks in and is like "mother, Orea smootie now", LOL

lots of funny moments, so if you like the first one, then you will probably like this one.

The plot. That's what. Don't watch it for the plot because it is ridiculous. underwater alien spawn portal

*Really guys? Couldn't come up with something better?

I found the characters to be uninteresting, but the acting was good, I guess.

I'm not sure who got the idea to make this movie, but my guess is that some Hollywood hotshot (who has access to tons of money) saw that transformers was raking in the Benjamins and wanted to cash in on America's fascination of cinematic destruction

My Thoughts

finally, a good movie after watching a bunch of mediocre ones

awesome story.

excellent acting by everyone

movie has good emotional range. Funny in some parts, tragic and sad in others.

I'm a causual race fan. I'm not in it like a die hard fan, but I like watching racing

*especially Formula 1 compared to NASCAR (which I think is boring as hell until someone crashes). My point is that you will like this movie even if your not into racing or cars.

If this movie is lacking anything, it could of used more actual racing scenes where you actaully see the cars race down the track

the Austrian guy is hilarious and I find myself identifying with his cold, stone cold hard and unemotional personality than that of James Hunt is just a playboy

would reccomend to others

My Thoughts

the visual effects were so-so. Some scenes looked awesome and stunning while others seemed clearly CGI

as a sci-fi fan, I find their take on the future interesting. Most sci-fi movies go hard on the metal superstructures when it comes to cities, spaceships, general vibe etc where this movie went with a zen-like wooden feel. To be honest, it felt out of place. --

*[ RANDOM THOUGHT ] --

I thought the scene when they are at home and all the blinds close like a bunch of fins was awesome. If I ever find myself living in a penthouse, I was those same style blinds. Looks awesome to me. --

*[ RANDOM THOUT END ] --

holograms, holograms everywhere!!!111

I love holograms, but even I think there are too many

BTW, when we have holograms at the store, in the living room or anywhere else

*thats how you know we are living in the future

Will Smith's acting was good, but Jaden's was meh. Papa Smith's character was tired, boring and unoriginal. Sometimes papa does not know best

somehow I get this impression that the movie was made to jump start Jaden Smith's acting career. If that was their goal, then they failed miserably. We will see how deep their pockets are if thats the case.

the real reason this movie sucks is because the plot sucks along with Jaden's horrible character. Creative and interesting take on sci-fi imagery which I liked, but almost everything else sucks. At the end of the day, the story needs to be good unless your just watching popcorn action entertainment, which this is not

I should mention that I hate Zombies, vampires, werewolves and other similar popular fluff that Hollywood puts out because it usually sucks and it's un-original

however, I liked this movie because the action sequences are well done

the plot is plausible but I can still poke holes through the story so big that the zombies can come flooding through and infect everyone

My Thoughts

I should mention that I used to hate these types of movies based in medieval times, but now i'm liking them more and more. but this movie sucks

the one thing that this movie has going for it is the more realistic violence compared to your average movie, and that is not saying much

otherwise the story is nothing special. The Kings son tries to prove himself to the King, goes off with his party etc etc

the title of the movie has nothing to do with anything anywhere. Perhaps the producers of the movie wanted to add a cool sounding name to their resume?

I am right. Its a feel good movie which makes it a utterly forgettable movie

acting was decent, but you get no connection for the characters at all. I didn't care if they lived or die. Terrance Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr. were aweful (not surprisingly)

My Thoughts

this movie seemed interesting based on the trailers

I had a hard time following along the general plot and theme of the movie and how each timeframe relates to each other.

as of now, this movie gets two stars. I really hate watching movies more than once because I usually almost remembers the plot details which just sours the movie watching experience. It's no fun watching something when you know what plot twists are coming ahead. But for this movie, I was simply lost in the woods. I understood the mini-stories that occurs in each in each era of time, but how everything relates....I'm not clear on. So this movie will probably one of those rare movies where I might watch it more than once.

the rest of the stuff was okay. decent acting, some funny scenes, some disturbing scenes, good settings etc.

at the end of the day, I watch movies and read books for the plot. If the plot confuses me (which is something that is diffuclt to do, I assure you) then you get a crappy rating. Maybe this movie is a work of genius and I'm too dumb to understand it (very unlikely)...but till I figure it out....two stars.

My Thoughts

the movie has a noir feel to it. After a gang showdown, Farrell is standing out

awesome acting and a very good supporting cast. These are not simplton cardboard cutout that you find in most movies of this type

what makes this movie so good is that it takes time for actual story and character development. That is, you slowly find out the motivations, ulterior motives, the struggles etc. When you combines a good plot with these traits, you get awesomeness.

this movie has a little bit of everything for guys and the gals. You can watch this as a gritty crime revenge thriller or a crazy love romance film.

another noteworthy point that I especially like (if you haven't noticed) is that it stays focused in reality. The protangonist takes his time, plans and prepares and generally intelligently builds everything up so that he can do what he can do.

good acting by everyone. Noomi Rapace is attractive and generally plays good roles in good movies. Colin Farrell continues to kick ass. Terance Howard makes a good mob boss.

My Thoughts

so this movie is based on a long series of books by Lee Child

I was considering reading a book or two from this series, but then the movie came out and it looked decent so I watched this instead

not much to say really. Its a good fun PG-13 movie

Not as bad as I thought it would be, but still forgetable

My Thoughts

the movie has this old authentic feel to it, i'm not sure how to describe it. It lacks the "unrealism" of most Hollywood movies.

I think Gosling found his groove in these types of "artistic" movies. (I don't know how else to describe it.)

Excellent story. It starts off a bit slow but if you keep watching, it gets way better and you see how one thing leads to another. This is one of the reasons I like this movie.

Eva Mendes is not that attractive IMO

good acting by everyone

The final one, for realsies this time.

My Thoughts

this is the sixth one, so you know they are milking this series for every last dime (this message is brought to you by captain obvious)

but just because its the sixth one does not necessarily mean it sucks.

to be honest, I got what i expected. The crew gets dragged back into a final mission which gives them full pardons. Car chase scenes, explosions, hand-to-hand fight scenes, cheesy dialogue and other ridiculousness ensues

its that UFC chick again! Love it when action scenes are based in reality. But damn, didn't see that plot twist coming. They got me there, so kudos to them for that

tanks now? Really?

Tanks weren't enough. A plane!

the scene where they chase the plane for like 20 minutes is soooooo long. You figure they would run out of runway.

this is ridiculous popcorn entertainment for the action only. Its like a third of the movie was directed by a 12 year old. No complaints here though.

In A Nutshell

Cars don't cut it anymore. As if a Tank wasn't enough, they got a Plane too.

My Thoughts

I hate movies based in middle America. I hate farm country, I generally don't like redneck-type people, I hate flat country....

I love Jason Statham, but he needs to play in some more non-action roles. He shows some acting range in this movie, but it still follows the usual script. He ends up kicking ass and taking names at the end of the day. He needs to play in a movie or soap opera where he must get by without physically getting near someone.

the movie seemed more realistic and plausible than most others of this type

the plot in unorginal but well done

some funny humour at the end

there are plot holes so big that your car needs an wheel alignment afterwards

My Thoughts

pretty meh to be honest

its not bad, but its not great

nothing much to it really. [This guy][1] from [Prison Break][2] is in it, so I was willing to give it a shot since he was really really good in that series

story is pretty simple and predictable but well played out. Average Joe falls on hard times with his wife and financial situation gets worse as the economy goes to sh

*t. Gets worse and worse until he shoots up the bankers

plot holes ! plot holes everywhere!

the ending was very good. I'm still kicking myself for not seeing that coming until like 5 seconds before the event happens. You know what i'm talking about if you saw the movie.

the movie obviously takes some indiredirect jabs at the U.S's health system and banking system. I'm cool with that. The character in the movie sounds stupid though. It is not really difficult to figure out if you take some time and read a few books [1]:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0700712 [2]:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455275/

Gerard Butler proceeds to kick ass and take names.

My Thoughts

Gerard Butler is Hollywood's new action star that actually plays in good movies

I like this movie because i'm a fan of utter destruction, especially when it comes down to military hardware and people doing the destructing

Looks like it's the North Koreans are the bad guys again. Why can't it be like, say England or France? Make it some close ally so it adds some curveball to the story. Anyone can pick on the DPRK.

lots of bullets, explosions, death, hackers etc. So there is not much to complain about besides that this scenario will never happen

North Korean hackers manage to decrypt Cerberus Nuclear Missile self destruct codes? Really? the writing team had no better plausible ideas? No traitors? No defectors that spilled the beans? sigh

is Aaron Eckhart is supposed to be the white-person equivalent of Obama?

I'm still not sure why that secret service agent is a traitor? They didn't explain that one at all

the guy that played the evil mastermind makes a good villain, minus the cheesy threats and line of course

In A Nutshell

a good movie for those who like blood, death and destruction (of big and important buildings of course :P)

My Thoughts

this is the type of scifi I love

This movie is produced/directed by thre guy that brought you Tron Legacy (which I liked), so you know your going to get a top notch audio and visuals

beautiful cinematography. Seriously, there are very few films that take some of the time to show the barren landscape of Earth post war

there are many scenes where the colour of scene sets the mood, just like the scenes in Skyfall. I seriously could use scenes of this movie as wallpapers for my desktop because it looks so good

Living on those stations would so awesome. The view is so breathtaking. I watched a behind the scenes feautre on how they made this movie. They actually went to some mountaintop and filmed the clouds over the course of a few days. I'm a sucker for timelapse videos/photos, especially things involving sky, space and stars

music was very well done. they took M83 (a group that I like) and adapted their style to a futuristic film. I will definetly downloading the soundtrack

acting was good by everybody. Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko and the British red head were really on top of it. And speaking of Olga Kurylenko, she is getting better and better. Playing in good movies, not sucking and generally being awesome after doing a James Bond movie, so kudos to her. Also, Jamie from Game Of Thrones makes an appearance and so does Morgan Freeman. You can't really go wrong with these guys

honestly, I wasn't bored at all during this film, which clocked in just over 2 hours

I thought the plot was well done. I won't write about it here, but if your read or watched enough sci-fi, you could see where its going. I'm usually good at predicting endings but this one kept me guessing longer than usual (until near the ending, at that point I knew what was going to happen).

The ending was kinda cheesy and predictable, but I loved the ending line. Kind of reminds me of 2001: A space Oddysey

just watch the movie, the less you know, the more you will enjoy it.

Proceeds to find find out what the hell is going on while his daughter tags along.

My Thoughts

acting was good by everybody.

this is one of those movies where you would be doing something in the kitchen, flip a channel or two, catch the beginning and and watch it as you ate something. TV thriller movie, popcorn entertainment action

please note that i'm saying this movie is NOT bad. It's actually pretty good. It's just not great.

I love movies filmed in Europe. Excellent cinematography, excellent location and all the general awesomeness of European cities and their historical architecture.

movie has a "cold" feel to it. Shades of blue throughout the scenes set the mood and general vibe to the movie to match the character who feels out of place living in Europe.

now that I think of it, If this movie starred Liam Neeson, it would kind of like Taken except he would be fighting to take his career back instead of his daughter who would tag along for this ride.

My Thoughts

this movie is well done and disturbing. A Korean-American girl gets kidnapped and is forced to be a sex slave in the sex trafficking ring run a by a Arizona Chief of Police, of all people. Apparently, this is based on a true story.

there is tons of info about Europe is known to have a lot of human/sex trafficking cartels. But rarely do you hear of such things in America, so this kinda caught me off guard. It something you don't really think about.

part of the disturbing thing about this movie is seeing how they were forced to live. A storage facility where you stuff your junk. Four people per unit, little to no anything like TV or books....oh man...

another thing that is creepy is the age of all the girls. Almost all under or at age 18. I must have been scary for the actors themselves. I know it would creep me out that even filming something like this would be very haunting

assuming the events in the movie are accurate, and that's a big if, why are people paying for them? For example, in the movie the girls get taken to a frat party where guys have their way. You figure college dudes would notice that hey...these girls are slaves? Also, regular business types also seem to accept it. wow..just wow. you figure there would a moral baseline that people wouldn't cross.

whats with the orderlies? You know, those comical beefy guys that watch and generally maintain the facility. They act like a bunch of comic book henchmen that have little to no say in the operation and just seem generally seem dumb slaves? What keep them there? I assume it's money, but it's never even hinted at throughout the movie.

the movie itself was very well shot. It feels like a indie movie but with all the benefits of a professional Hollywood film. Actors were very good, excellent cinematography and generally well made.

In A Nutshell

disturbing subject. Brings up things you rather not want to think about
